David Moyes' side also impressed in their 3-2 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday. The Reds took the lead twice at Anfield, but West Ham fought back on both occasions.

Speaking after the game, Moyes said: "I thought we played very well against Liverpool. We created some good chances and we could have got something from the game."

West Ham are now 15th in the Premier League table, four points above the relegation zone. The Hammers will be looking to continue their good form when they travel to Fulham on Saturday.
